This review is going to vary for 2 aspects of Shingle Springs Tribal Health. The medical and dental departments. As well as two parts of those departments. First I will rate the medical department. The counter help there is quick and friendly. They are also helpful and compassionate. 5 stars. The medical inside is good to very good. I like my doctor, but the assistants are ususlly brusque and harried - probably nor their fault. 4 stars. The dental department counter is by far the most lacking area in this place. They're short, borderline rude and extremely unfriendly. 1 star at most. The hygnists and dentists are excellent and easily get 5 stars. The inside dental department is even aware of their counter help's lack of people skills and quite apologetic of it.

Nothing but positive experience all the way around. New to El Dorado County and needed to see a Dr with my medications dwindling. Assistant told me to come in and fill out paperwork. I did and was given an appointment the following week. Saw Dr Johanna and she was thorough and understanding. Also great demeanor and professional. Few times I've talked to phone assistants I have been met with cordial and friendly staff. Very pleased with SSTH.

Excellent patient care. Their medical and dental staff are on task. I'd highly recommend this clinic. A concern, however. Their behavioral department could use improvement. The clinics therapist, "EDWARD OLVERA, LMFT", is in my opinion, highly incompetent. By his own admission, he uses an "unconventional approach". His unconventional approach is not at all beneficial. Likewise, I assume that his approach is of no benefit to his clients as a whole. Notwithstanding the therapist, I absolutely recommend this clinic. Five stars!

Is the game people of this Clinic you people really move quickly and I'll keep you waiting very long way to come to your appointment and make sure all the information that you needed therapy after you seen the doctor way to go

The dental and mental health departments do a fantastic job for my Native American friend. The whole family is happy with their dental, medical and mental health services.

The dentist was super friendly and nice, although I do have to wait five months to get a cleaning. The mental health division is a joke.
